Lolita meet up: Eating pancakes on a ship

Good evening my dearest readers,

I wish you all a nice 1st advent and I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent mine with some shopping and I visited our local christmas market with my family. I like christmas markets, the smell of sweet and tasty food and all the pretty christmas things! (But I dislike the amount of people... >_<'')
How about you, do you like visiting christmas markets?

Anyway, last weekend we had a Lolita meet up in Bremen and went to "Admiral Nelsen - Das Pannekoekship". It's a ship that looks like an old pirate ship and they make tasty pancakes - sweet or hearty. Our Lolita group was bigger this time.
After eating our yummy pancakes we were allowed to go to the deck of the ship and we took some pictures there. It was windy and a bit cold, but also funny and a ship is such a pretty photo location. :)
When we were finished with tai´king pictures, most of us needed to get their trains or busses back home, so we just walked back to the main station of Bremen.

It was a very nice meet up, somehow short, but we spent most of our time eating and drinking on the ship. And here are a few pictures:

My outfit:
Hat: Self made
Blouse: Bodyline
Skirt: FanplusFriend
Tights: Primark

And as I mentioned in my entry before, I decorated the beret with a brooch. :)
I wish you all a lovely sunday and I good start into the next week and into december!

PS: I also made a "Get ready with me" video about this outfit, maybe you like to take a look at it:

Selfmade: Red Lolita Beret

Hey my dearest readers,

today I have an entry about the last Lolita accessory I made: a beret to fit my Baroque Pipe Organ skirt. At first I wanted to buy a beret, but I found nothing in a matching color - so I decided to sew one. I bought the best matching fabric I found (it was hard, because I wasn't able to buy the exact color of the skirt): I bought 50cm cotton fabric in a local fabric store.

It was the first time for me sewing a beret and I used this tutorial by Natron & Soda (I'm sorry it's only in german). At first it looked difficult, but it was pretty easy and I'm very happy with my result. Well, it's not perfect - but I like it and it matched the skirt. :)

 - A few steps while sewing -
 - Finished beret -
 - Beret with a bow as decoration -

For the whole outfit I added a silver/black brooch onto the bow and I was wearing it last saturday on a Lolita meet up, so you'll see the whole outfit with the beret in my next entry. :)

I think I'll see a beret for some daily outfits, too. It was fun making it and I really like how it looks.
How about you? Do you like hats like this?

I wish you all a nice friday and weekend!

Daily Outfit: Autumn Feels

Hello my dearest readers,

I promised to blog more and here's a next entry. This time a daily outfit again, before I post the upcoming Lolita fashion related entries. :)
I'm totally in an autumn/winter mood and I love to wear my sweaters and hoodies again, combined with a cute skirt or shorts. On saturday I found this pretty sweater and it's a bit different from my style, but I really like it. And the fake leather shorts are still one of my favorite pieces.

 Sweater: Primark
Shorts: Ann Christin
Tights: Primark
Shoes: Osco
Necklace: New Yorker
Backpack: Offbrand (bought during a convention)

I hope you all keep yourselfs warm during this colder days. In two days our local christmas market starts and I'm already excited to visit it - do you like christmas markets?

Best wishes,

Hello my dearest readers,

last week I ordered my first piece at the fashion site FanplusFriend: it's the highwaist skirt from their "Baroque Pipe Organ" series. It was on sale and so I just wasn't able to resist. The package arrived today and I thought this is a nice chance to write a review. :)

User surface of the site: 4/5
The site itself is constructed user-friendly: the article pictures are very good and the structure is clear. I only give one minus point, because I the searching system could work a bit better, but that's just a personal taste.
Contact: 5/5
The contact was great! Right after I set my order I received a confirment e-mail and later more e-mails, that my article was packed and shipped. I also got a tracking number and was able to see, where my artcile was.
Article Quality: 5/5
I'm amazed by the quality! The skirt looked heavy on the picture, but it's not. The print is very pretty and detailed and I love the ruffles at the bottom of the skirt. The lacing in the front of the skirt is also very well done.
Conclusion: 5/5
I'm very very happy with my FanplusFriend order! Everything went well and I'm amazed they shipped to fast! And the skirt is so pretty and I got a bag as gift - I would definitly buy again on their site.

 - The article was well packed -
- They also sent a pretty tote bag as gift -

 - The unpacked skirt with some details -

- The skirt worn -

I'm still looking for a good way to coordinate this lovely skirt, but I already got an idea in my mind. :) I can't wait to wear it on the next meet up! <3

Halloween 2014: Let's party

Good evening my dearest readers,

on Friday was Halloween and I visited a friend's Halloween party. I was so excited, because I really like Halloween and dressing up for it. Last year we did not managed to make a party, so I was glad there was one this year. :) I wasn't sure what to wear, but I ended up with some kind of a "Gothic Bat Girl". But first of all the food I made:

1. "Bloody pumpkin cookies"
 2. "Green glibber marshmallows"
Making creepy food is a lot of fan and next year I want to be more creative. :3

The party itself was great - we had a lot of fun and other visitors brought awesome creepy and tasty food! :) Unfortunately we did not took a lot of pictures, so I can only show you my outfit and some selfies.

  - Pictures by my boyfriend -
Selfies with my friends and my boyfriend <3 -

That's all - I hope we will be on a Halloween party again next year and I'll take some more pictures then. :)

I hope you all, if you celebrate Halloween, had a nice evening, too!

Best wishes,

October 2014: Hannover Lolita Meet up

Good evening my dearest readers,

finally a new Lolita-related entry! //clap clap clap...
Anyway, I visited a local Lolita meet up in Hannover last saturday and the meet up was Fairytale/Halloween-themed so I took the chance and coordinated my beloved "Black Cat, Witch and the Apple Tree" by Alice and the Pirates. I made a fitting headbow (with small bats) for my outfit and although I got a cold, I was excited, because it's been a longer time since I've worn Lolita on a meet up. :)

The meet up itself was great! We ate at a Café called "Glücksmoment" (= Lucky moment). I got a carrot cake, which was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I got a super tasty Cake Pop and a Chai Latte with strawberry flavor. We also had a small tombola and I won a cute hairclip. *_*~
After that we went to the city park of Hannover and took photos - it was a bit cold, but I had so much fun wearing Lolita again and I'm really happy with the outcome of the pictures.

After the meet up I went to Primark and bought a moomin pajama - I just needed this! <3 (It's so comfy and perfect, when you're ill!)
So, the day was very nice! The meet up itself was well organized and all the girls were so friendly - I hope I have time for more Lolita meet ups during the next months.

And now a few pictures from saturday:

 - Mirror picture and selfie in the morning -
Headbow: selfmade
Blouse: Bodyline
Tights: Primark
Shoes: Deichmann
Bag: Re-Style
 - My carrot cake and the cake pop -

 - Our group picture: all looked so pretty and everyone had another theme in her outfit -

 - And some pictures of me! I love them all! The first two are taken by Torai and the others by my boyfriend -
- My boyfriend and me after the meet up (god... his derpy face xD) -

So this friday I'm invited to a Halloweenparty and I'm already so excited, because I love Halloween and I like my planned outfit (not Lolita) so far.
How about you? Do you like Halloween?

Best wishes,

Daily Outfit: Black is my favorite color

Hey my dearest readers,

today it's time for another daily outfit post. I visited my family in Oldenburg a week ago and I also found some time to take a few pictures with my sister. I also went shopping with my mother and got some new pieces perfect for autumn. Two of them are shown in this outfit and a love to wear a lot of black again lately.

 Dress: H&M
Tights: Offbrand
Shoes: Deichmann
Bag: Mädchenwald
Necklace: NewYorker

I also got a new Lolita-thing in my mind and I hope I can manage it: I want to sew myself a dark Lolita dress out of black velvet. :) I think I'll share some progress here and fill this blog with some Lolita stuff again.

Best wishes and have a nice sunday,

Convention Talk: Connichi 2014

Hello my dear readers,

it's been such a long time since my last entry in this blog, but there was no Lolita meet up and I wasn't motivated to post my daily outfits. >_< I'm sorry, I like this blog, but sometimes I forget about it. I hope I can change that in the future. And normally during autumn and winter I wear more Lolita again, I also hope I'll have some time to visit a few meet ups again. :) And I bought some super pretty black velvet, which I want to turn into a winter lolita dress.
Anyway, in this entry I just want to show a simple daily outfit and the biggest convention in Germany - Connichi - was almost two weeks ago, so I'll write a bit about my cosplays and the convention.

Let's talk about Connichi 2014: I was there for three days and I really enjoyed it this year! Last year it just wasn't "my convention", but this year is was awesome! Well, there were also bad moments: it was very cold on saturday and on sunday I fell down in my cosplay, ripped my knee and tights - I'm so damn clumpsy! >__< - but there were maaany great moments! <3 On friday I wore Rikka Takanashi from Chuunibyou with my boyfriend and Romy, saturday I was Ruby Rose from RWBY with an awesome group and on sunday I wore my (improved) Steam Dress Alice cosplay again.
I felt very busy during the convention: Meeting friends and new people, taking pictures, some filming, exploring the convention itself... so much to do! And I haven't met all people I wanted to. But this convention was a great experience, it felt so much bigger than the years before and I love cosplaying more than I ever did before. :) <3

Now on to some pictures:
- FR: Romy (on the right) and me as Rikka and Nibutani from Chuunibyou / Picture by Whitebutterfly -
- SA: Me as Ruby from RWBY / Pictures by OlzeAndy K. and Franky -

 - SO: Me as Steam Dress Alice from Alice Madness Returns / Pictures by Eingefangen and Falk Krönert -

I'm very excited for conventions next year, I just made a few plans and I'm happy to cosplay with some friends again. :)

But I have a question: Are you still interested in reading my cosplay/convention stuff here? Or should I keep that out of this blog?

Zoo Meet up in Bremerhaven

Good morning my lovely readers,

last saturday we had a small Lolita meet up again. We met us in Bremerhaven by the north sea (here in Germany) and visited the "Zoo am Meer", which means zoo by the sea.

It was a cute small zoo with mostly animals around the sea, they also have an aquarium. I'm a big fan of aquariums and I love the watch water animals. <3 I could stand there for hours and gaze into the wather. x'D We saw Ice bears, seals, pinguins, owls, apes, pumas, rays, crabs, fishes and more. My favorites were the artic foxes - they are so cute! <3

Here are a few impressions of the animals:
 - Sleeping arctic foxes -
 - Sleeping puma and cute otters -
 - An octopus -
- Me with a big crab, which is called "Sea spider" -

Besides visiting the zoo we were in a café and took some pictures. It was very windy by the sea, so we weren't able to take pictures outside. (We tried it... x''D). We were four Lolitas and my boyfriend, but it was nice - we had a lot of fun.
Here are our pictures and my outfit:

- Our group: Me, Nessi, Chi-Chan and Lolizzy -
 - A picture we made outside... it was sooo windy! -
- My outfit -
Headbow: Self-made
Blouse: Innocent World
Cardigan: Promod
Skirt: Self-made
(I still have to add some lace to it, to make a longer. >_<)
Socks: Offbrand
Shoes: Secret Shop
Bag: Re-Style

 - Two pictures my boyfriend made in the aquarium, the first one is a snapshot -

How about you? Do you like visiting zoos?

Everyone have a nice rest of the week! :)

Daily Outfit: "As long as you are with me, there's no place I'd rather be."

Hey my lovely readers,

yesterday I used the day to wear a summer dress. I really love summer dresses, but I'm not wearing them often. I don't know why, mostly I feel overdressed in them, also when they don't look that special.
Anyway, a few weeks ago I bought a lovely dress at Koton: it's navy blue with white ribbons on it, has a belt in the waist and a pretty fabric - in other words: a perfect dress for me! <3 I just had to buy it! *_*

Dress: Koton
Shoes: Primark
Necklace: Esprit

Maybe I should wear summer dresses more often, I always feel like being on a summer vacation wearing them. (Oh, I miss the sea so much! ;___;)

I wish you all a nice and relaxing sunday. :)
I have to do some stuff for university and also making things for an upcoming convention next month.

Daily Outfit: Glimpse of summer

Hello my dearest readers,

as promised I'm trying to post more daily outfits again. My daily style is not that special and I'm not wearing Lolita in my daily life - sometimes I would like to, but I don't own many casual Lolita pieces, which could be combined into a casual outfit for daily issues.

Since tuesday we have higher temperatures here in Germany and I'm enjyoing the sun! I love summer and I love hot weather, because I can wear my favorite clothes without any cardigan or tights. <3 I also feel more energized and happy when it's hot outside. :)

 Necklace: NewYorker
Shirt: Koton
Skirt: Primark
Shoes: Primark

- I really like the print on this shirt! <3 -

I know, a lot people dislike hot weather, but for me it's perfect. I freeze easily, so I prefer warm weather.
How about you? Do you like summer and hot weather? Or do you prefer another season?

Have a nice day!

Lolita Meet up: A picnic in May

Good evening my lovely readers,

last saturday were a small Lolita picnic from a local Lolita community. The weather god was nice to us this time, because during the last years we never had a picnic meet up - everytime we planned one, the weather changed from good to bad. This time we were lucky! <3
Everyone brought some tasty food and we enjoyed our day in the park. Just eating, talking and relaxing... of course we also took a few pictures.

Unfortunately I wasn't in the mood for pictures, because of unknown reasons I felt uncomfortable in my outfit. :/ (Now looking at it I like my outfit, I don't now what disturbed my mood that day...). Anyway, here are a few pictures from the meet up. (Sadly I forgot to take a picture of the yummy food we had.)

 - Our group: Mini, sora-ai, Lolizzy, Chi-Chan, Venedig, Manga-Girl and me -
- Funny group picture -
 - Mini, Chi-Chan and me -

 - Outfit -
Headbow, Apron-Skirt and Bag: Angelic Pretty
Blouse: Innocent World
Tights & Socks: Offbrand
Shoes: Secret Shop
Necklace: Promod

For the next meet up I hope I'll feel more comfortable in Lolita again. :') But the meet up itself was pretty nice.

PS: I hope I'll find some time to upload some more simple daily outfits again. The weather in Germany is getting better and hopefully I'll be more creative with my daily outfits.
