Daily Outfit: A fox, with glasses and a scarf...

Hello my dearest readers,

and another entry: today I want to show you one of my new favorite casual outfits. As I wrote in some earlier entries about my casual, daily fashion I rarely wear long jeans - mostly shorts or skirts. But lately I like to wear jeans again and I think it's because of my new sweater. ;)

 Blouse (underneath): NewYorker
Sweater: Clockhouse (C&A)
Jeans: Clockhouse
Boots: Deichmann
Necklace: Sailor Moon (bought on a convention)

Bonus pic of my new favorite winter coord
Hat: H&M (kids section)
Scarf: Ernsting's family
Coat: NewYorker

The story behind the sweater is that I saw Calssara wearing in during German Comic Con and I fell in love with it. I was like: "A fow with glasses and a scarf... AWWWW!" (Instant-Need and so on... xD) The gorgeous red coat is an early christmas present by my boyfriend's mom. My other winter jackets/coats aren't that colorful, so I'm happy to own this pretty and super cozy coat now. <3

When it's also winter in your country, stay warm and everyone: have a nice day! ;)

Yours,
Zhenya

November Lolita Meet up

Hello my dearest readers,

I'm late again with my entry, but I have something Lolita related to post, because I was able to attend the local meet up last month and I was so happy to finally wear Lolita fashion again! <3

So, on november 21st my boyfriend and I were on our way to Bremen. Unfortunatly there was soccer game that day and some fans damaged our train and it had a delay for an unknown time. We were so angry, 'cause the train is just driving just once per hour, which meant we were an hour to late for the meet up. =_='
Anyway, when we arrived in Bremen we walked straight up to the Café and met the other Lolitas. We ate tasty cake and I drank hot chocolate. I was also very happy to finally meet Berrii again. <3

The Meet up itself was way too short for my taste. Somehow we didn't stay in the Café for so long. We went outside for taking pictures - well, it was windy and rainy, so not the best conditions for a photo shooting. We rushed the group picture and for our single pictures we found a pretty place under a roof. But it was also very cold, so taking pictures didn't also take much time. We walked back to the main station and that was it... in the end the whole meet up itself was just 3hrs. :( But now to the pictures of the meet up:
- Our group -

 - My Sailor Lolita outfit -
Hat: selfmade
Cutsew: Metamorphose
JSK: Btssb
Tights: offbrand
Shoes: Primark

- Berrii and me <3 -

This weekend will be our christmas Lolita meet up and I'm already excited (and I hope it will take more time)! <3 I still have to think about a fitting outfit - which means I don't want to wear my Chess Chocolate again (well, I love that dress, but I've worn it the last two years for the christmas meet ups xD).

I wish you all a nice start into this week!
Yours,
Zhenya

Daily Outfit: "You'll find me between the devil & the deep blue sea."

Hello my dearest readers,

today I just have another quick daily outfit for you.
Yesterday my boyfriend and I went hiking to the castle ruin auf Asseberg. It was windy and cold, but I used the location to throw my warm jacket aside and take a few pictures in my autumn outfit - until I jumped into my jacket again. ;)

The sailorstyle dress was a trade on the german site "Kleiderkorb", which is a side for second-hand clothing and I traded one of my wigs against this dress. When it arrived I directly fell in love with it. It's more a summer dress, but with a cardigan and warm tights it can also be warm in autumn and winter. Unfortunately it has only "mine" written as brand and I think it's from an asia clothing shop, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I think I'll wear it often and one of the best things is... it has pockets! Damn, I need more dresses and skirts with pockets!
Beret: H&M
Cadigan: Offbrand
Dress: mine (or offbrand)
Tights: Deichmann
Boots: Deichmann

I wish you a nice weekend and a good start into the next week.

Yours,
Zhenya

Daily Outfit: Sunny autumn day

Hello my dearest readers,

and another entry: today I want to show you a new daily outfit. Since autumn has arrived in Germany days are getting colder, leaves are falling down and it's time to wear cozy clothes again. Last saturday I used the sunny weather for making new casual pictures - pictures of me without cosplay, 'cause these are rare (besides selfies :P).
And of course this is a good way to show my autumn daily outfit.

 Hat: H&M
Scarf: SIX
Jacket: PROMOD
Button down shirt: AnnChristin
Skirt: H&M
Shoes: H&M
Bag: Mädchenwald

I hope the sunny autumn weather will stay for a while and I'm already looking foward to Halloween. I still have no plans for the Halloween evening, but I want to wear a creepy costume and... do something! xD

I wish you all a wonderful october!

Yours,
Zhenya

Review: Kill la kill - Ryuko Matoi Jacket by Cosplaysky

Hello my dearest readers,

first of all: I changed the style of my blog a bit. I want to use is more as a blog for all my hobbies - not just Lolita - and it should be some kind of homepage for me. I also haven't worn Lolita fashion often this year, that's why there aren't that much entries in this blog for 2015. I hope I can change that again.

Today I have a new review for you: Ryuko Matoi Jacket (Kill la Kill) from Cosplaysky.com.
Normally I make cosplays by myself, but for Ryuko's jacket I thought of buying it, because the buyable versions looked actually very good. I've also seen good reviews from other cosplayers about Cosplaysky and so I wanted to give it a try. So, I asked Cosplaysky and I was able to chose the jacket from their store. The conversation was very friendly. They sent ou the jacket on 28th august and it arrived around 5 days later, so it was very fast.
I've worn the jacket with my cosplay during Connichi 2015 and really liked it - it fits great and the jacket was comfortable and kept me warm during the day.

Link: Kill la Kill - Ryuko Matoi Jacket
Shipped on: 28.08.2015

Receivement: 02.09.2015
Shipping time:
5 working Days (+ sunday was in between)
Shipping via: regular shipping (DHL)

User surface of the site: 5/5
The site itself is constructed user-friendly: the article pictures are very good and the structure is clear. They have pictures of their products from almost every site and well made categories. So, surfing and searching is easy on the site. For costumes they also show pictures of the original characters.
Contact: 5/5
The contact was great! It was, as I said, very friendly and the answered all of my questions and also told me, when they sent out the jacket.
Article Quality: 5/5
The quality of the jacket is awesome! I did not expect it to be this good: it's soft on the inside and made out of a thick fabric. So it keeps you perfectly warm and it's of course very comfortable. The zipper works fine and the details on the jacket are printed with a very flexible material, so it won't rip or crack. I've also worn it without a cosplay, because it's so well made and also perfect for daily outfits. And for cosplay, all details are made like in the series and it absolutly looks like Ryuko's jacket.

Conclusion: 5/5
Overall I'm very happy with this jacket! It looks like Ryuko's jacket from the series and worked well with my cosplay and it's also wearable in daily life. The quality of the jacket is awesome. So if you're looking for Ryuko's jacket I can recommend Cosplaysky for it.

I hope my review was helpful, if you have any questions about the article, don't hesitate in asking me. And don't forget to check out Cosplaysky, if you're looking for nice costumes.

Best wishes,
Zhenya

Conventions so far: Anime-Marathon, DoKomi, Animecon & Nisa-Con (picture heavy)

Hello my dearest readers,

I know, I know, my blog was "sleeping" the last few months again. One of the reasons for this is, that I had no time to wear Lolita fashion and this blog should be more dedicated to Lolita fashion. Another reason that I have less time. But I still want to write here, so I decided to write about the conventions I visited after LBM/MCC in march so far. Some of you like to see my cosplay-related things, so here I go:

Anime-Marathon 2015 - 02.05.2015 (Königslutter, Germany):
Anime-Marathon is a smaller convention with a Hotel as location. I visited it last year and I really liked it, so we decided to come back this year. It was also special, because I was ask to take part in the DCM preliminary decision (DCM = Deutsche Cosplay Meisterschaft = German Cosplay Championship) as a jury team member. It was a great experience for me! I've never done judging in a championship before, so I was glad that I got a chance to do it. Well, I haven't see much of the convention itself that day, because being part of the DCM-Team means being busy almost the whole day, but it was okay for me. :) I've also worn my Ryuko Matoi (Kill la kill) cosplay again and my dear friend Inulein joined me as Mako Makanshoku, at least we had time to take a few pictures together.
- Sorry for the bad quality, but here you can see the jury sitting in front on the stage -
 - Jury team: Inulein, Cage and me (Picture by Charaua) -
 - Kill la Kill pictures (first with Inulein as Mako | Pictures by Romy) -

DoKomi 2015 - 23.05.-24.05.2015 (Düsseldorf, Germany):
My next convention was DoKomi in Düsseldorf, it's a bigger convention and also one of my favorites. My boyfriend and I visited Cleo and her boyfriend, we slept at their place and together we visited DoKomi both days. DoKomi wasn't that awesome this year, because somehow my mood was gloomy, especially on saturday. I have no idea why and I noticed that some of my friends had a gloomy mood, too. Sunday was more exciting, I also had a great RWBY group on sunday. <3 The convention itself felt also stressful, because it seemed like everyone is running from A to B the whole day. Next year we definitly need to plan our days more relaxing. But all in all DoKomi was also nice this year and we had a lovely time with Cleo, her boyfriend and the others we've seen. :)
My cosplays during DoKomi were Mirai Kuriyama (Kyoukai no Kanata) on saturday and Ruby Rose (RWBY) on sunday.

Animecon 2015 - 12.06.-14.06.2015 (The Hague, Netherlands):
Animecon this year was my first non-german convention, that's why I was veeery excited. The decision to visit this convention was spontaneous, because Cleo told us they still have room and were searching for friends to come to the hague. Well, all I can say is that Animecon wasn't the best convention for me this year. Of course it was a little different comparing with german conventions and we had fun, but it was very expensive for us and because it was also my first time being in the netherlands it wasn't planned very well... Somehow I would like to come back next year, but I would handle the weekend a little different. But all in all it was a nice experience and we had a great shooting at the beach. <3 My cosplays were: on friday Rikka Takanashi (Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai) in a bikini (my first time wearing a bikini cosplay), on saturday: first half Compa (Hyperdimension Neptunia) and second half Mirai Kuriyama. On sunday: Alice Liddell (Alice: Madness returns).

NiSa-Con 2015 - 04.07.2015 (Brunswick, Germany):
And the last convention I visited so far. It's in my homwtown and also a small one, but it's always relaxing for us to go there. Unfortunately it was very hot that day and not very cosplay-friendly. But we managed it to take pretty pictures in the park and later we changed into normal clothes, went eating ice-cream and of course enjoyed the AMV happy hour in the evening. :)
I also made a spontaneous Juvia Loxar (Fairy Tail) cosplay for the convention: a white summer dress, which was a very good choice.
 - Juvia Loxar (white summer dress) | Pictures by Dantecrise -

Okay, that's it so far. I know this blogpost is picture heavy and I just talked about the conventions in a few words. And again no Lolita fashion this time. I hope I'll get the chance to wear Lolita again soon. My next convention will be Connichi in september and I'm already excited for it, although I have a lot of cosplaywork to do.

I still hope you like to see my cosplay and here about my convention-life. I'm also thinking about changing this blog more into a Cosplay and Lolita blog (and of course some daily fashion), but I'm not sure about it yet.

Have a nice weekend and best wishes,
Zhenya

My first follow me around: Hanami in Hannover April 2015

Hello my dearest readers,

sorry for my absence here. I had some stressful days and I often forget to blog here. >_<
But I have new Lolita stuff to show you: at the beginning of the month I bought a new Lolita skirt. It's "Melty Mermaid" by Alice and the Pirates and I'm so happy that I got it, because it was a dream item. <3

On the 19th april was a cherry blossom festival (short: Hanami) in Hannover (Germany) and I decided to wear that skirt. I also made a fitting headbow that day before.

 Headbow: self made
Blouse: Innocent World
Cardigan: Promod
Skirt: Alice and the Pirates
Socks: Offbrand
Shoes: Secret Shop

The festival itself was nice and sunny. Although all the japanese food was sold out too fast... which made me sad, because I wanted to try some of the food. T_T Anyway, we looked at the booth, but I didn't buy anything and we met some friends, I had a small photo shooting and in the end we took part in a picnic. <3
I took no pictures of the Hanami itself, but I made a short video, I'll link it at the end of this post. :)
Here are two pictures made by RAWR-Shootings, he has such a talent with capturing pretty light:
- Pictures by RAWR-Shootings -

And here is my video, it was my first "Follow me around", so it isn't perfect and I'm also talking in german again:

Enough for today. At the moment I'm waiting for warmer days to start the "Lolita picnic season", at least I hope I'll be able to take part in a picnic meet up. ;)

Have a nice evening and weekend!
yours Zhenya

Cosplay & Convention: LBM/MCC 2015

Hello my dearest readers,

a few posts before I ask, if you still like reading about my life as a cosplayer and about visiting conventions. And some of you still like this content, so here comes another cosplay and convention post. :)

Last month - 13.03.-15.03. - I visited the bookfair in Leipzig (aka Manga Comic Convention) again. It's still one of my favorite conventions. Making my cosplays was hard this years, because I had a lot to do for university and not much time as I wanted for my cosplays. So I was only able to make two new costumes for me and one for my boyfriend, also I had to rush a few things and they didn't turn out as perfect as I wanted. It was so stressful: nights with less sleep, less social contact... and cosworking they whole day. But in the end it was worth it!
We had a lot of fun in our costumes and I'm happy my boyfriend really likes how his new costume turned out. I also fulfilled myself a small dream and made a remake of Alice Liddell's classic dress from my favorite game "Alice: Madness returns". My cosplays for the LBM/MCC were on friday Alice in her classic dress and on saturday and sunday I was Ryuko Matoi from the anime Kill la Kill together with my boyfriend as Uzu Sanageyama (also Kill la Kill).

So, we arrived on thursday and went to the convention on friday. Friday is always a relaxing day, because there aren't lots of people, you can easily walk around and take a lot at all the booths and things, you can buy. Also there is enough space for taking pictures. I felt great as Alice, even though carrying my Hobby Horse the whole day is hard. :')
Saturday and sunday were more crowded, especially saturday... it was hard to walk around, searching for others and more... so many people! x_X
Sunday was more relaxed again, we also had time for a small shopping tour that day.
All in all the convention was awesome! I had so much time with friends and I also met new people, I had fun in my costumes and we also took some pretty nice photos. <3

 - My Ryuko Matoi cosplay / Pictures by Marco Russo -

- The boyfriend in his cosplay -

- Cosplay selfie! :D -
I was sad when the convention was over, but I'm already looking foward to upcoming conventions and I'm also excited to start with new cosplay projects. I also decided to make a change in my way of cosworking: these stressful days before the conventions aren't good in any way! They pull me down and sometimes I don't have fun in cosworking any more...

So, I decided to start earlier with my costumes, to reduce stress and keep the fun up. I hope it'll work and since next conventions are coming in May I'm going to start with upcoming cosplays this month. :)

I hope you liked reading a bit about my cosplay life. If you are interested in seeing more pictures of my cosplays you can visit my page of my Animexx-Account.

Have a nice day!

Daily Outfit: Stay cozy

Hello my dearest readers,

today I have a short fashion entry. Well, days here in Germany are getting warmer again, the sun comes out more often, spring is on the way and I noticed I'll miss one thing: Wearing my favorite pullover!

 Scarf: SIX
Pullover: Primark
Top: Primark
Jeans: Primark
Boots: Deichmann

This grey/white pullover was a lucky found from Primark - I was searching for a longer, cozy top for cold days and I got this. It's a pullover "to live in", it's so comfortable and I'm wearing it very often (of course the pullover gets washed ;3). It also changed my mind about wearing leggins with only a pullover over them. On the pictures I'm having jeans on, but I also like to combine this outfit with some thick leggins, well, of course I'm still wearing this long white top underneath to cover my butt.
I'm sure I'll miss wearing this pullover, when it's too warm for it. But I love spring and summer, so it will be okay and days in Germany are tending to be cold in the evening.

Anyway, how about you? Do you have a favorite clothing thing you love to wear in autumn/winter and you will miss, when it's too warm?
Have a nice day!
Yours,
Zhenya

Lolita Meet up in february

Hello my dearest readers,

sorry I'm so late with my blog entry, because last month on the 21st february we had a Lolita meet up in Oldenburg (north Germany).
I chosed a dark outfit and combined my new "Alice in Wonderland " book bag with it.

The meet up itself was great - I had the chance to see lovely Berrii again. <3 The whole group went to the Café Klinge, we ate tasty cake and talked a lot. It was so relaxing - we also had the chance to take some pictures inside. Well, I know, the location itself is not the best, but it was cold and rainy outside... so taking pictures inside was a good option. ;)
In the end we also took some group pictures outside, because inside we had no space to take a picture of the whole group.

Even though the weather wasn't on our side we had a lovely meet up and I'm so looking foward to coming meet ups! :)

And now here are some pictures:
- The whole group -

 - My outfit: -
Headdress: Selfmade + Roses by H&M
Blouse: Bodyline
JSK: Alice and the pirates
Tights & Shoes: Primark

- With Berrii -
 - My tasty cake and a tea -

- Just a selfie from that day, but I really like it -
I hope the next meet up will come soon and I hope it will be a sunny day. I would love to spent a day in Lolita in a park again. :)
Yours,
Zhenya
